Services for John Arthur Vasquez, 24, Osawatomie, Kan., who died Jan. 1, 1992, near Paola, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Osawatomie; burial in the Lane, Kan. Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 6 p.m. today (Jan 2) at the Eddy-Birchard Chapel, Osawatomie, where the rosary will be said at 7 p.m.

Mr. Vasquez was born in Paola and lived in Osawatomie most of his life. He was a 1986 graduate of Osawatomie High School, served in the Army for two years and was in the Army National Guard for three years.

Survivors include a daughter, Lauren Amber Vasquez, San Antonio; his parents, Joe and Jean Vasquez of the home; a brother, Joseph Vasquez, Liberty; and two sisters, Yvonne Montgomery, Thayer, Kan., and Julie Jacobson, St. Charles, Mo.
