Vicki Jane Pool, 53, died March 12, 2013, at her home in Paola.

Vicki was born June 25, 1959, at Iola. She was the second of three children born to Ronald and Pauline Pool.

She grew up in Osawatomie and graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1977. She attended Allen County Community College and Barton County Community College and graduated with an associate’s degree in nursing. She worked as a nurse for 30 years.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Osawatomie and was very active there.

She had a love of gardening, music and her pets.

Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Pool, and an infant brother, Daniel Pool.

She is survived by her mother, Pauline Pool, and sister, Valorie Davidson, both of Osawatomie; her children, Jeremy Pfaltzgraff of Gardner, Nathan Pfaltzgraff of Paola, Jessica Pfaltzgraff of Gardner, and Shawn McKenna and Caitlin McKenna, both of Olathe; and three grandchildren.

She was cremated. Memorial services for the family were held Friday.
