WALTER WILLIAM MCDOUGAL

Walter William McDougal, 38, Osawatomie, Kan., formerly of this area, died Jan. 19, 1991, at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

He was born in Denver and lived in Osawatomie, San Antonio and Lee's Summit before returning to Osawatomie in 1988. Mr. McDougal co-owned Cabinetry Concepts, Osawatomie for the last four years and previously had owned the McDougal Custom Cabinet shop, Osawatomie. He had worked for the Reed Construction Co., Lee's Summit, in the mid-1879's and for the Matney Construction Co., Osawatomie, and Spriggs Construction of Paola, Kan., in the 1970s.

He was a member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, San Antonio, and a former member of the Beagle, Kan. United Methodist Church and the First United Methodist Church of Osawatomie. He was a former member of the Osawatomie Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors include two sons, Ryan W. McDougal and Cory W. McDougal, and a daughter, Sarah N. McDougal, all of San Antonio; his mother, Clara McDougal, Osawatomie; two brothers, Clyde McDougal, Paola, and Woodrow W. McDougal, Jr. Osawatomie; and three sisters, JoAnn Cornett, Osawatomie, Sharon Madden, Lee's Summit, and Jeanne Miller, Lawrence.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Beagle United Methodist Church; burial in Quaker Cemetery near Lane, Kan. The family suggests contributions to the Beagle United Methodist Church.
