Larry Lee Lang age 69 of Lane, KS died Wednesday October 28, 2020 at his home. 

Larry was born December 13, 1950 in Paola, Kansas. He was the second of 5 children born to Robert Keith and Alice Joyce (Dickey) Lang. He grew up and attended school in Osawatomie. Graduating with the Osawatomie High School Class of 1968. 

Over the years, Larry was a jack of many trades. He was in the United States Navy. He worked as an emergency room technician and later an EMT. Larry then worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad as a conductor. He opened a bar in Lane KS called Wolfy’s house of Barbeque & Pub and was an over the road truck driver for many years. Finishing his career, he worked at the A & M Products for 15 years. Retiring in 2018.

In his spare time, Larry loved music. He learned to play the guitar at a young age. Larry collected records and would jam out so the whole neighborhood would hear. Larry himself said “I did a lot of shit and had some fun”. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivor include daughter Christina (Carey) Burris of Princeton, KS, one grandson Jase Burris, Brother Michael Lang of Burlington, KS, Sisters LeeAnn Lee of Lane, KS. Carol (Jack) Rhea of Osawatomie, KS and Barbara (Richard) Stifter of Lane, KS.  Along with many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
