OLATHE - - William Forrest Taylor, 40, of Kansas City, Kan., died Feb. 22 at his home. The death was listed as an apparent suicide.

Services for the former Osawatomie resident were held here Friday in the W. L. Frye and Son Funeral Home. Burial was in the Paola Cemetery.

He was born Feb. 28, 1941, in Springfield, Mo., and graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1959. He had lived in this area for eight years and was employed as a registered nurse at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.

Among the survivors are his wife, Charlene Taylor, of Tulsa, Okla.; two sons, Kevin and Brian Taylor, Tulsa; his mother, Leota Taylor, Osawatomie; two brothers, Ronald S. Taylor, Tulsa, and Daryl Taylor, Osawatomie; and a sister Linda Wendling, Olathe.

A memorial has been established in his name to the American Diabetes Association, 616 E. 63rd, Kansas City, Mo. 64110.
