BONNIE BRATTON BAIRD

AUGUST 12, 1941 - APRIL 24, 1967

Mrs. Bonnie Sue Bratton Baird, daughter of Harvey and Natalie Bratton, was born Aug. 12, 1941, in Kansas City, Mo. and died April 24 at the Miami County Hospital She was 25.

Mrs. Baird attended schools in Parker and Osawatomie graduating with the Class of 1959. She attended college at Pittsburg and also attended IBM Business School in Kansas City and later worked there and at the Osawatomie State Hospital. She was a member of the Beagle Methodist Church where she served as organist for several years, a member of the 4-H, W.S.C.S. and Eastern Star.

On July 21, 1963 she was married to Clayton E. Baird. To this union two daughters were born.

Mrs. Baird is survived by her husband, Clayton, and two daughters, Susan Marie and Sally Leigh, of the home; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Harvey Bratton, Parker; one brother, Donald Bratton, Denver, Colo.; and her grandmother, Mrs. Grace Saunders, Englewood, Calif.

Funeral services were held Friday in the Beagle Methodist Church with the Rev. Jerry Howard and the Rev. Gary Hemmingway officiating. George Henry Diehm provided the music and accompanied the soloist, Donald Burnett. Pallbearers were Alex Golloday, Larry Lee, Theron Millard, Gary Richardson, Phillip Harold and Gordon Davey. Burial was in the Beagle Cemetery under the direction of the Birchard Funeral Home.
