Funeral services for Kenneth William Day, 31, were held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Eddy Funeral home with Rev. Robert Peters officiating. Burial was in the Osawatomie cemetery.

Mr. Day died January 9, 1970 at his home in Huntington Beach, Calif. He had been in ill health since he was severely burned in July, 1967. He had spent several months in the hospital since that time and was to re-enter the hospital for the removal of a bone growth from his elbow.

Born July 26, 1938 at Girard, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl M. Day, he moved with his parents to Osawatomie in 1954. He attended Indianapolis grade school and was graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1956. After serving in the Navy, he married and made his home in California.

Mr. Day is survived by his wife, two daughters, a stepson, his parents of Osawatomie and two brothers, Sgt. Robert L. Day and Paul Merlyn Day.
