Lewis Johnson of Los Angeles, California passed away on March 7, 2014 at the age of 76.

He was born on November 10, 1937, in Osawatomie, KS, to Vivian and Wayman Johnson.

Following graduation from Osawatomie High School in 1955. Lewis served his country for four years in the United States Air Force.

After an honorable discharge from the Air Force, Lewis moved to Lawrence, Kansas and subsequently to Los Angeles. He worked in the Bankruptcy Division of the Department of Justice prior to retiring in 1998.

Lewis is survived by his beloved partner in life of over 35 years, Adele Overton; seven children and their spouses: Cheryl Ann (Myron), Cheldon (Maryann), Angie (Craig), David (Janet), Kimberly, Monte (Phyllis), and Daci (Larry); 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; four sisters, one brother and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
