LARRY FULTZ

NOVEMBER 26, 1937 - JANUARY 10, 2006

Larry L. Fultz, 68, Olathe, a former Osawatomie resident, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006, at Olathe Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 26, 1937, in Osawatomie, was raised there and graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1955. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served four years, three of which were in England. After leaving the military, he attended Pittsburg State College for two years and then moved to Olathe.

Mr. Fultz was employed by Sprint and retired after 26 years with the company.

His family, work and tinkering around the house were his hobbies. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Shirley Fultz of the home; two sons, Derek Fultz of Olathe and Kirk Fultz of Overland Park; a daughter, Kyndra Goodman of Baton Rouge, La.; three brothers, Bill Fultz of Houston, Jerry Fultz of Gardner and Mike Fultz of Kearney, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

Services were Friday at Grace United Methodist Church in Olathe. Burial was in Olathe Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements were by McGilley and Frye Funeral Chapel of Olathe.
