JULES ELMER 'BUD' KELLOGG

CLASS OF 1952

DECEMBER 1, 1934 - FEBRUARY 14, 2005

Jules Elmer Kellogg was born December 1, 1934, one of four children to James and Amelia (Capelle) Kellogg in Osawatomie, KS. He passed away February 14, 2005, at St. Joseph Hospital in Kansas City, MO, at the age of 70. He grew up in Osawatomie and graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1952.

He was a Navy veteran. Jules was a retired Pipe Fitter of Local #533 in Kansas City, MO. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #56 in Spring Hill, KS, 32nd Degree Scottish Rites of North East, KS, and Abdallah Shriner of Overland Park, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Kathryn, and brother Edward. Jules is survived by three sons, Jon and wife Sheila Kellogg, Jim Kellogg, all of Sedalia, MO, Tom Kellogg, Lawrence, KS, grandson Joshua, and brother Charles Kellogg and wife Karen, Rich Hill.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, February 19 at Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill, MO, with family receiving friends 1 p.m. until service time. (Arr. Heuser Funeral Home, 417-395-2213)
