JOSEPH DELBERT TROXLER

MAY 18, 1933 - JUNE 27, 2010

Joseph D. Troxler, 77, of Las Vegas, passed away June 26, 2010. He was born May 18, 1933, in Osawatomie, Kan., and was a 51-year resident of Nevada.

Joe was a retired fifth grade teacher at O.K. Adcock Elementary School for 30 years and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was very patriotic, loved music and loved to sing.Joe was involved in bringing barbershop style music to Las Vegas.

He died four days after celebrating his 50th wedding anniversary to his lovely wife, Karen.

He loved all of his family and will be missed. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Dennis D. Troxler; mother, Velma Troxler; sister, Betty Bartlett; and brother-in-law, Clyde Bartlett.

Joe is survived by his wife, wife, Karen Troxler; son, Dennis W. Troxler; daughter, Brenda McKenna and husband, David; daughter, Teresa Gallagher and husband, Mark; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be 9-10 a.m. Thursday, July 1, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow at Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
