JUANITA MARIE GRAVES

DECEMBER 5, 1933 - NOVEMBER 20, 1992

Juanita Marie Graves, 58, Vilseck, Germany, a former resident of Osawatomie, died unexpectedly after a short illness on Friday, Nov. 20, 1992, at a hospital in Weiden, Germany.

She was born in Kansas City, Mo., on Dec. 5, 1933, the daughter of Ray and Ruby Vochatzer Graves. Her mother died in 1943 and her father moved the family to Osawatomie in 1945. She attended the schools there, graduating from the Osawatomie High School in 1951.

Miss Graves worked for the federal government and was an opportunity officer. She had lived and worked in Washington, D.C., Denver, Colo., Leavenworth and several locations in Germany. She moved to Vilseck earlier this year.

She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Surviving are a brother, Donald Graves of Jefferson City, Mo.; and four sisters, Midge Toncray and Alice Emery of Paola, Velma Boehm of Osawatomie and Sheri Ziegler of Schawnee.

Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 o'clock today, Monday, at the Amos Family Chapel in Shawnee. Cremation. Graveside services will be a 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Kansas City.
