Edith E. Quaintance, 64, Garnett, died Saturday, October 19, 1996 at Anderson County Hospital, Garnett.

Mrs. Quaintance lived in Louisburg for 34 years before moving to Garnett six months ago. She was born April 7, 1932 in Lane, and graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1950. She was a word processor for the insurance industry.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Quaintance, Garnett; two sons, Rob Quaintance, Hillsdale, and Alan Quaintance, Garnett; a sister, Dorothy Reinecker, Harrisonville, Mo.; and two grandsons, Travis and Nicholas.

Private family graveside services were held in Centerville Cemetery under the direction of Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapels, Inc., Garnett.
