Helen E. Lloyd, 88, entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior on March 16, 2020 at the Healthcare Resort of Olathe. Helen lived her life as a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Glenn, of 61 years, who preceded her in eternal rest on July 28, 2012. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Helen Esther Henderson was born on December 30, 1931, to Haskell and Mayetta (Heilman) Henderson in Fontana, Kansas. Helen Esther was the apple of their eyes!

On September 1, 1950, she married Glenn F. Lloyd. Glenn and Helen lived in Olathe and raised their three children. Helen worked as a homemaker. She also worked as paraprofessional for the Olathe School District serving students with visual impairments and as a teachers aide. She enjoyed her family, her pets, reading, and RVing over the years. In 2000, they moved to Kingwood, Texas, with their beloved Yorkies, Misty and Abby. In 2019, Helen returned to Olathe and resided at the Healthcare Resort surrounded by a team of loving caregivers. Helen was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church, Porter, Texas.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Nancy E. Kuhn (James), Lisa R. Lloyd-Rader (Jonathan), and her son,
Stan Lloyd ( Rebecca), her grandchildren, Matthew G. Lloyd, Bryan C. Lloyd-Rosell (Hannah), Jennifer R. Gibson (Brandon), Jonathan M. Rader II, and great grandson, Luca Stanley Lloyd-Rosell.

Due to the recent health practices, a “Celebration of Life” service will be held at a later date. A private service will be held.
