ELEANOR L. HANFIELD



CLASS OF 1948

Eleanor L. Richardson, 88, of Louisburg, KS passed away on November 19, 2018 at North Point Skilled Nursing Home, Paola, KS. 

She was born November 10, 1930 in Osawatomie, KS the daughter of Claude R. and Norene E. (Martin) Hanfeld. She was united in marriage to Perry Arthur Richardson on December 31, 1947.

Eleanor worked for the Louisburg Senior Citizens as a bus driver for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Louisburg American Legion Auxiliary. She was an avid gardener and loved antiquing and working on genealogy. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Perry in 1972, sons, John, Jim and Bill and one grandson, Matt.

Survivors include four daughters, Barbara (John) Meyer, Ruth (Gary) Mapes, Ronda Santana and Mary (Don) Pemberton; two sons, Jack (Anna) Richardson and Joe (Amanda) Richardson; one sister, Reta (Joe) Burke; 20 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Louisburg Cemetery.
