Frieda I. Caylor, 86, Garnett, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009 at her residence
She was born Nov. 25, 1923, in Miami County, the daughter of Faye McCullough and Kirby Swearingen.

On June 30, 1941, she and Raymond Lawrence Caylor were married in Ottawa.   They shared more than 52 years of marriage before he died July 7, 1993
She was a homemaker. Before her health failed she enjoyed reading, embroidery and doing puzzle books.
Other preceding her in death included a son, Raymond Leroy Caylor, who died in 1989.
Survivors include her daughter Lois Caylor of Garnett; two sisters, Lorena Brassfield of Olathe and Pauline Bumgarner of Ottawa; and three grandchildren.
Services were Monday in the Garnett Cemetery.
