Irene Lees, 76, died Jan 7, 1997, at the Mennonite Friendship Manor, Hutchinson, Kansas. Burial was in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas.

Irene Liell was born in Greeley, Anderson County, Kansas, on Jan 5, 1921.

She graduated from Osawatomie High School with the Class of 1939.

Irene and Lee M. Kerr were married in Anderson County, Kansas, onSept. 14, 1941. Later she married Albert Lees and they went to California where she worked as a Psychiatric Nurse in a California State Hospital.

Irene and Albert Lees moved to Hutchinson from Enterprise, Oregon in 1981. She was a member of Park Place Christian Church in Hutchinson and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxilliary in Enterprise, Oregon.

Survivors include a step-daughter, Donna Williams and her family in Hutchinson, Kansas.
