Marle C. Cortner, 73, formerly of Osawatomie, died May 12, 1994, in

the El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, Calif. He was born January 6, 1921, the son of J. A. & Minnie Cortner.

Mr. Cortner lived in Sunnyvale, Calif.

He graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1939.

Among his survivors are one brother, Charles A. Cortner of Osawatomie; and three sisters, Mary C. Ricketts and Dorothy J. Heckart of Osawatomie and Rita Faye Hayden of Enid, Okla.

Graveside Masonic services were held May 16 at the Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo, Calif, under the direction of Lima Family Sunnyvale Mortuary.
