Graveside services for Lawrence S. (Bud) Buckman of Seattle, Wash., were conducted by the Osawatomie American Legion Post No. 204, Monday, at 10;30 a.m. at the Osawatomie Cemetery.

Robert Ramsey officiated with Harry Clark assisting. Raymond Mathia, Chester Pennock, Marvin J. Lhuillier, Glenn Ricketts, Leonard Day and Albert Barber served as pallbearers. Burial was under the direction of the Eddy Funeral Home of Osawatomie.

Mr. Buckman was 54 years of age and died at the Harbourview Hospital in Seattle on Wednesday, April 10, 1974. The son of Larwrence J. and Agnes H. Buckman, he was born in Jetmore on June 26, 1919.

He attended the Osawatomie schools and was a 1939 graduate of Osawatomie High School. Mr. Buckman was a member of the Christian Church.

Surviving him are his parents, Mr. And Mrs. L. J. Buckman, two sisters, Mrs. Eileen Maloney and Mrs. Lorraine Fields, and one brother, James Buckman, all of Osawatomie.
