Graveside services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Helen E. Pottorff at the Osawatomie Cemetery under the direction of the Birchard Funeral Home of Osawatomie. Pallbearers were Everett Whitney, Bruce Bowker, Raymond Eichorn and David Whitney.

Mrs. Pottorff, who was 55 years of age, died February 7, 1976 at the Barton County Memorial Hospital in Lamar, Mo. She was born February 16, 1920 in Osawatomie, daughter of Benjamin and Margaret McGuire Whitey. She attended the Osawatomie schools graduating in 1938. She was a member of the Nazarene Churc of Osawatomie.

Surviving are a son, Paul Tyrell of Topeka; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Baxley and Mrs. Pearl Pyle of California, and Mrs. Anabell Cupit of Oregon, and five grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Ann Johns, who died in 1969.
