JUNE 22, 1920 - FEBRUARY 27, 2001 Mary Elizabeth Marshall, 80, Lee's Summit, MO, a former Osawatomie resident died February 27, 2001. The daughter of Felix and Lena Brown Oliver, she was born June 22, 1920 in Erie, KS. She attended Osawatomie High School and graduated with the Class of 1938. She was married December 12, 1947, to Max Marshall. They lived in Olathe and operated Marshall Tire and Appliance until moving to Lee's Summit area in 1955. Mrs. Marshall worked for Ellena Buick, Gas Service Co. and Marshall Insurance Services. Prior to that, she was a legal secretary for Clayton Grenner, an Olathe attorney. A sister, Mary Lou Nicklin and a brother, Leonard Oliver, were among those preceding her in death. She is survived by her husband, Max L. Marshall of the home; two daughters, Terry Wasson of Lee's Summit and Kathy Lilley of Olathe; a son, Tom Marshall of Pleasant Hill, MO;and five grandchildren. Visitation was held at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee's Summit with memorial services at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, also in Lee's Summit. Memorials were to Heartland Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association and the Alzheimer's Unit of St. Mary's Manor, Blue Springs, MO. |
