Marie Giffin, 74, Parker, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 1994, at the home of a daughter in Kansas City, KS.

She was born Nov. 25, 1919, in the Prairie Home Community in Linn County. She was one of the eight children born to Charles Willard and Cora Ann Stark Johnson.

She grew up in Linn County and attended the schools there. She moved to Osawatomie to live with her sister, Naoma, and attended Osawatomie High School graduating with the Class of 1938
