Dr. Lloyd O. Cundiff, 62, of Parkville, MO died Tuesday, May 18, 1982,at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS after a long illness.

Son of the late Hiram and Lucy Drake Cundiff he was born in Osawatomie, Feb. 10, 1918. He attended Osawatomie schools and graduated with the Class of 1938. He had lived in the North Kansas City area since 1950.

He worked for Phillips Petroleum in Fairfax for a number of years. He went to night school and graduated from the Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, KS in 1952. He retired this year.

Dr. Cundiff was a member of the Delaware Masonic Lodge of Kansas City, KS and the Missouri State Chiropractic Association. He was a member and an elder of the Barry Christian Church. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force of World War II.

His brothers, Roy Cundiff and Clarence Cundiff, also preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rita M. Cundiff of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Carol L.Beamler of Excelsior Springs, MO and two grandchildren. Mrs. Eleanor Cundiff of Paola is a sister-in-law.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel and burial was in the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, KS.

Memorials were established in his name to the Cancer Action, Inc., or the church.
