MARIE THOMPSON McKINLEY

MARCH 30, 1919 - APRIL 6, 1992

Graveside services for Marie Thompson McKinley, Parkville, Mo., were held in Osawatomie Cemetery.

Mrs. McKinley, a former Osawatomie resident, died Monday, April 6, 1992, in the Ramona Villa Nursing Center, Parkville. She was 73.

The daughter of Almon and Adeline Youngs Thompson, she was born March 30, 1919. She lived in Osawatomie for a number of years and was a 1937 graduate of Osawatomie High School. She had lived in the Parkville area since 1940.

Mrs. McKinley was a stenographer for the American Red Cross during World War II.

She was a member of the Platte Woods United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Eulos McKinley, and a son, James C. McKinley, both of the home; a brother, Charles C. Thompson, Liberty, Mo.; and two sisters, Margaret Thompson Grant, Osawatomie, and Betty Thompson Patrick, Harveyville.

Memorial services were held Wednesday night in Heritage Chapel, Parkville.

A memorial has been established in her name to the church.
