CLASS OF 1937 APRIL 9, 1919 - SEPTEMBER 23, 2003 Inez E. Kraft, 84, an Osawatomie native, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, at her home in Kansas City. "Dolly," as she was known, was born April 9, 1919, in Osawatomie, the daughter of Wiley and Carmen Cox. She was a 1937 graduate of Osawatomie High School. After the death of her father, she moved in 1941 to Kansas City with her mother and her three younger brothers. She and her husband, I. Lee Kraft, would have celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary Sept. 26. Mrs. Kraft's life revolved around her family. She was a room mother for both of her children, a Cub Scout den mother for her son and a Brownie leader for her daughter. Survivors include her husband, Lee Kraft; her son, Ronald Kraft; her daughter, Nancy Weiss; a brother, Ray Cox; a sister, Marjorie Rummel; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services were Friday in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, Mo. Services were under the direction of Mount Moriah and Freeman Chapel in Kansas City, Mo. |
