CLASS OF 1936 SEPTEMBER 16, 1920 - MAY 25, 1994 Charles M. Gudger Jr., 73, Corvallis, Ore., formerly of Prairie Village, died May 25, 1994, at a hospital in Eugene, Ore. Memorial services are pending; cremation. The family suggests contributions to the John Ise Chair of Economics in care of the University of Kansas. Mr. Gudger was born in Osawatomie, Kan. and attended school there graduating with the Class of 1936. He lived in Prairie Village before moving to Wayzata, Minn., in 1964. He also lived in Lawrence before moving to Corvallis in 1970. He taught business administration at Oregon State University in Corvallis from 1970 until he retired in 1985. He received bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in business from the University of Kansas. He was a founding member of the Wine Appreciation Society of Kansas City. He was a co-founder of the Timberhill Racquet Club in Corvallis. Survivors include his wfe, Camille Gudger of the home; a son, Charles Gudger III, Eugene; a daughter, Joan Kelly, Derwood, Md; and three grandchildren. |
