DOROTHY ADELENE LOCH HUFFMAN

Dorothy Adelene Huffman, 84, Pleasanton, a former Fontana-area resident, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003.

She was born May 16, 1919, between Beagle and Fontana in Miami County. She was the youngest of the two children of John William and Florence Hattie Vohs Loch. She attended school in Fontana and Osawatomie and was a 1936 graduate of Osawatomie High School.

She and Ronald Ray Huffman were married Feb. 19, 1968, in Newton, Kan. They lived in Fontana before moving to Perry, Okla. They later moved to Amoret, Mo., and have lived in Pleasanton since May 1986.

Those preceding her in death were a son, Donald Servos, a brother, Donald Loch, and one grandson.Survivors include her husband, Ronald Huffman of the home; two sons, Kenneth L. Servos of Osawatomie and John E. Servos of Fontana; three daughters, M. Kay McMurray of Riverside, Mo., Vicki Davis of Osawatomie and Patricia A. Asad of Gilbert, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was conducted Tuesday at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home in Osawatomie. Inurnment was in Osawatomie Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation in care of the funeral home.
