The following is information that was supplied by George for the 50th reunion held in 1985:

"I am retired after being in the grocery business for nearly 30 years. I am married and have one daughter, Sheila Champion, and three grandsons. The oldest grandson is service with the Army in Korea. I served in the Arm in world War II. and also in the Korean conflict. After living in Lyons and Burlington, KS, we have lived in Houston, TX for 33 years. Because of ill health, I am unable to be in Osawatomie for our reunion. I hope many are there and have a wonderful time reminiscing over old and good times at O.H.S."
