JOHN B. NORMAN

APRIL 7, 1917 - NOVEMBER 2, 2010

The following is information that was supplied by John for the 50th reunion held in 1985:

"After I got out of High School, I went to work on the railroad, and in 1936, I married Maxine Johnson of Paola. We had two kids. a girl first. She is a housewife with 5 kids and 2 grandkids. My son is a professor at Denver University. He has a boy and a girl. After the railroad job, I went to work at highway construction until 1940. We then went to California where I worked for North American Aviation, then I moved to Kansas City and worked for them until 1945, then went to work for TWA until 1948. After that, I went into commercial and residential sheet metal work until 1967. We moved to Denver and I went to work for Mid-West Engineering as Air and Water Balancing Tech. I retied in 1979 and moved to Buena Vista, CO."

 

Obituary

John Norman passed away at his home in Parker, CO. on November 2, 2010. John was born April 7, 1917. He married Maxine Johnson of Paola. She preceded him in death in 1985.

John and Maxine had two children, John B., Jr. and JoAnnette.

Other than his two children, he is survived by seven grandchildren, John B., III and wife Georgia, Elizabeth Rubin and husband Mike, Stephanie Palmer and husband Steve, Jon Sieve, and wife Rebecca, Melinda Koehnen, JoAnnette Sieve, and Eriak Sieve; three great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation was at Ponderosa Valley Funeral Home on November 6th with Grave Side Memorial Services at Parker Cemetery.
