Memorials services for Julia Spellman Smith, Sunnyvale CA, were held March 8. Mrs. Smith, 80, died March 4, 1997.

She grew up in Osawatomie, KS and was a 1934 graduate of Osawatomie High School.

Among those preceding her in death were her husband, RichardSmith, and agraddaughter, Gloria Steep.

Survivors include a son, Richard Smith, San Jose; a daughter, Jackie Martin, Redding; a sister, Helen Willis, Kansas City, KS; and two granddaughters.
