Dorothy Dhea Marshall, 88, Mound City, a Beagle native, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, at Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott.

She was born July 16, 1917, in Beagle, the daughter of James Hayden and Nona Kaiser Cavinee. She was a 1934 graduate of Osawatomie High School.

Those preceding her in death include a daughter, Joy Hutchins, who died in infancy, a sister, Bernadine Cockran, and a brother, Charles Cavinee.

Surviving are three nieces, Colleen Suddock and Debbie Nickelson, both of Mound City, and Jamie Fanning of Houston, Texas.

Graveside services were held Oct. 10th at the Beagle Cemetery under the direction of Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home of Osawatomie.
