Services for Mrs. Marcella Laub were held last Wednesday in Birchard Chapel. Mrs. Laub died Jan. 4, 1975 at her home, 508 Eighth St. She was 58.

Born Jan. 29, 1916 in Altoona, she was a daughter of Fred and Jennie Miller Boling. She attended local schools, graduating from Osawatomie High School in 1934.

On Oct. 4, 1938 she was married to Robert E. (Ted) Laub in Fort Scott. He survives.

Mrs. Laub ws a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge No. 1716 and Evelena Chapter 435, Order of the Eastern Star.

Besides her husband, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Snow, Lane, and Mrs. Mary Ellen Evinger, Florence, Calif.; her mother, Mrs. Jennie Rowzee, Osawatomie; two sisters, Mrs. Elfrieda Land, Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Lorraine Chaddock, Eugene, Ore.; a half-sister, Mrs. Frances Tenpenny, Lenexa; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

he Rev. Clayton Pittman officiated at services. Organ selections were played by Mrs. Hugh Phares. Pallbearers were Roy Thomas, Raymond Mathia, Roderick Dever, Carl Wittenbrink, Merle Ensle and Vern Ensle. Burial was in Osawatomie Cemetery.
