APRIL 14, 1913 - MARCH 26, 1998

Ruth Beatrice Weaver, 84, Osawatomie, died March 26, 1998, at her home.

Mrs. Weaver and her husband owned and operated Weaver's Grocery Store for 18 years and Weaver's Truck Line for 23 years. They also operated Weaver's Recreation in Osawatomie.

She was born April 14, 1913 in Osawatomie, the daughter of John Park and Hannah Frances Inman Latimer. She was reared in Osawatomie and attended Osawatomie schools. She graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1932.

Mrs. Weaver was a member of Osawatomie First United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge at Osawatomie.

She married Raymond Wesley Weaver on Nov. 30, 1933 in Paola. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Weaver also was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Eileen Weaver McCoy, a grandson, Eugene McCoy, and a granddaughter, Alice McCoy.

Survivors include three sons, John W. Weaver, Topeka, George R. Weaver, Paola, and Joseph E. Weaver, Beagle, nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home with burial at Osawatomie Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association and sent in care of the funeral home.
