Memorial and inurnment services for Laurence Mason Dunlap, 1615 W. Seventh St., Coffeyville, were held Sunday in Osawatomie Cemetery.

Mr. Dunlap, a former Osawatomie resident, died Thursday, in Sunny View Nursing Home, Coffeyville.

Born June 21, 1912, in Osawatomie, he was the son of Mason and Katherine Boles Dunlap. He attended Osawatomie schools and was a 1932 graduate of Osawatomie High School.

He worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad from the 1950's until retiring in 1977. He was a radio maintainer in communications.

He and Kathlyn L. Couch were married Sept. 17, 1944, in Los Angeles, Calif. They moved to Coffeyville from Osawatomie in 1962.

Mr. Dunlap served with the United States Marin Corps during World War II in the South Pacific.

Survivors include his wife, Kathlyn, of the home; two daughters, Sandra McNames, of the home, and Susan Brighton, Little Rock, Ark; a brother, Robert Dunlap, Downey, Calif; and four grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Graves Funeral Home, Coffeyville.
