Carroll Vernon Hunt, 84, a retired farmer and stockman and lifelong resident of the rural Osawatomie area, died Sunday, April 11, 1993, at the Country Haven Nursing Center in Paola, where he had been making his home. He was born in the Indianapolis Community, rural Osawatomie, on May 23, 1908, the son of William and Osee L. Hughes Hunt. He moved to Paola five years ago. Mr. Hunt attended the Green Valley Baptist Church, rural Paola. Graveside services were at 10:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, at the Elmdale Cemetery at Osawatomie. Memorials may be made in his name to the nursing center.
