APRIL 16, 1913 - MARCH 4, 2004

Helen M. Padley, 90, of Leawood, KS, was born into eternal life on March 4, 2004, at Villa St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, I-435 at Holmes Road. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at the church prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made to Village Presbyterian Church or to Catholic Charities.

Mrs. Padley was born April 16, 1913 in Miami County, KS. She was the only daughter of Josiah Wilbert Hinton and Nellie Marie Gingrich.

Helen attended Osawatomie High School and a graduate of K.C. Business College. She became a legal secretary for several attorneys. After raising her family she worked as an administrative assistant at K.U. Continuing Education.

She was a long-time member of Village Presbyterian Church where she was active in the Women's Circles.

Her hobbies including sewing, gardening, music and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett J. Padley; her oldest son, Robert B. Padley; and her two brothers, Paul Wilbert Hinton and Robert Lyle Hinton. Mrs. Padley is survived by her son, Ronald D. Padley and wife, Geri, along with three grandsons, Nicholas, Brian, and Patrick Padley. (Arrangements: Mt. Moriah & Freeman Chapel (816) 942-2004)
