Gladys Irene Dickey Stine died Friday, April 1, 1988 at her home in Wichita.

She was born July 18, 1913, in Osawatomie, KS. Her parents were Bruce and Ota Troxel Dickey. She grew up in Osawatomie and attended local schools, graduating from Osawatomie High School in 1931.

She and Jack Stine were married March 4, 1933 in Fort Scott. They made their home in Osawatomie for several years before settling in Wichita in 1947.

Mrs. Stine worked at Fourth National Bank in Wichita until she retired in 1978.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one grandson. Survivors include her children, Jack Lee Stine, Derby, and Nancy Trower, Wichita; a brother Bruce Dickey, Overland Park; a sister, Genevieve Speck, Osawatomie; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
