Concord, Calif. - - Beulah Barrett Means Yardley, Concord, died Monday, Aug. 30, 1993, at the age of 79.

A memorial service and burial of the cremains will be held at a later date in Billings, Mont.

She was born March 11, 1914, in Osawatomie, Kan., and her parents were Loss and Anna Johnson Barrett. She grew up in Osawatomie and was a 1931 graduate of Osawatomie High School.

She and her first husband, Dr. Robert Means, lived in Osawatomie several years before moving to Billings.

After the death of Dr. Means, she married Ray Yardley and they retired in Mesa, Ariz. After his death, she moved to California to make her home near her children, Betty Lee Means Bell and Robert Means, because of ill health.

In addition to her children, survivors include a brother, Earl Barrett, Osawatomie; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
