Harold D. Barnhart, 90, Kansas City, Mo., a native of Osawatomie, died Friday, April 21, 2000, in Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

He was born in Osawatomie and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He and Floy J. Elliott were married June 29, 1946.

Mr. Barnhart was a clothing presser in different dry cleaners during his working years.

Those preceding him in death were his wife, Floy Barnhart, who died in 1982; a brother, Roy Barnhart; and three half brothers, John McDowell, Jr., Dale McDowell and Dean McDowell.

There are no immediate survivors.

Services were held Wednesday in the Dale Cemetery near Trenton, Mo. Arrangements were cared for by Muehlebach Funeral Home in Kansas City, Mo.
