Ruby Wanda Wilson, 90, Osawatomie, died Tuesday, June 17, 1997 at the Miami County Medical Center in Paola.

She was born June 10, 1907, at rural Osawatomie, the daughter of George Washington and Deborah Lee Carlile Kitchen. She grew up in Osawatomie and attended Osawatomie schools, graduating from Osawatomie High School in the Class of 1928.

She was married to Forrest Ross in 1932. They made their home near Rantoul. Their marriage ended in divorce.

She was married to Claud Wilson in the late 1930s at Osawatomie. They made their home in the Green Valley community. He died in 1964.

She married Glen Wilson at Osawatomie in 1964. They also made their home in the Green Valley community. He died in 1980.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Green Valley Social Club.

Others preceding her in death were her parents, a grandchild, two brothers and a sister.

Those surviving are her daughter, LaJaunda Ruthanna Ross Dotson of Joplin, Mo.; and six grandchildren, Claud C. Woodward of Lamar, Ark., Elgia Ruby Woodward of Paola, Leroy Moye of Osawatomie, Naomi Ruth Foster of Cassville, Mo., Dora Evelyn Moye of Pomona, Kan., and Anna Kate Bough of Cassville, Mo., and seven great-grandchildren.

A visitation was from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home in Osawatomie. Graveside services followed at 2:30 p.m. at the Green Valley Cemetery at Osawatomie.
