PAULINE BOLING HANLIN

Services for Pauline Viola Hanlin were held Monday in the Birchard Funeral Home. Mrs. Hanlin, 65, died Saturday in Kansas City, Mo.

Born Feb. 16, 1907 in Altoona, she was a daughter of Fred and Jennie Miller Boling. She graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1928. In 1930, she was married to I. D. Hanlin in Pittsburg.

Before moving to Kansas City, the Hanlins lived here. Mrs. Hanlin was a remotivation counselor at Osawatomie State Hospital for 10 years. She retired in 1968.

Mrs. Hanlin was a member of Evelena Chapter 435, Order of the Eastern Star of Lane.

Survivors include her husband of the home; one son, Terry Hanlin, Osawatomie; her mother, Mrs. Jennie Rowzee, Eugene, Ore.; four sisters, Mrs. L. E. Land, Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. D. R. Chaddock, Eugene, Ore., Mrs. R. E. Laub, Osawatomie, and Mrs. Frances Tenpenny, Olathe; and one granddaughter.

The Rev. Clayton Pittman officiated at services. Organ selections were played by Mrs. Hugh Phares. Pallbearers were Vern Ensle, Roy Brassfield, Rollie Pierce, Raymond Laird, Wayne Harclerode and Carl Thoms. Burial was in the Osawatomie Cemetery.
