Blue Springs, Mo. -- Services for Robert G. Mallory, Blue Springs, were held Friday in Webb-Freer Chapel followed by burial in Blue Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Mallory, 86, a native of Parker, Kans. died Tuesday, October 19, 1993, in Trinity Lutheran Hospital, Kansas City, Mo. He also was a former resident of Osawatomie, Kans. and a graduate of Osawatomie High School in 1926.

For 15 years, he served as sewer and water commissioner for Lake Tapawingo. Before retiring in 1972, he was a maintenance foreman for Bendix Kansas City Division. He had lived in the Kansas City area since the early 1930s.

Survivors include his wife, Millie Mallory, of the home; a son, Robert R. Mallory, Kansas City; a stepson, Bill Smith, Grandview; a sister, Alice Bussell, Osawatomie; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in his name to the American Cancer Society.
