Edna M. Stoner, 224 Main St., Osawatomie, died July 2, in Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Services for Mrs. Stoner, 76, were held Thursday in Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home.

She was born Nov. 26, 1907, on a farm near Hillsdale. When she was a small girl, the family moved to Osawatomie where she attended school, graduating from Osawatomie High School in 1926. She married Harry A. Stoner Aug. 7, 1935, and they have made their home in Osawatomie since that time.

Mrs. Stoner was a member of the United Methodist Church of Osawatomie; a 50-year member of Osawatomie Chapter No. 26, Order of Eastern Star; and had served as an officer and member of the Osawatomie Ladies Golf Association for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Harry, of the home, and two sisters, Thelma Hunsperger and Linnie Mooney, Osawatomie.

Officiating at the services was the Rev. Richard A. Roberts Jr. Nelle Dollar was the organist. Pallbearers were Bill Gard, Bob Stoner, Harry Christopher Stoner, Jim DeMastus, Bob Madison and Glenn Bigelow. Burial was in Osawatomie Cemetery.

A memorial was established in her name to the United Methodist Church of Osawatomie.
