CLASS OF 1926 Mrs. Blessing I. Gowing, 76, died Tuesday, Jan 29, 1985, ath the Country Haven Adult Care Facility in Paola. She was born in Missouri and had lived in LaCygne before moving to Long Beach, Calif. in 1956. She moved to Paola in 1982. Mrs. Gowing was a retired elementary school teacher. She was a member of the Christian Church of LaCygne. Surviving are her son, Tomming Lee Gowing of Parker, a sister, Mrs. Patty Ferren of Overland Park; a brother, William Casto of Salisbury, NC and three grandsons. The services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church and the burial was in the Oak Lawn Cemetery at LaCygne. |
