MAE WALTHALL TODD

 

CLASS OF 1925

Services were held in the Birchard Funeral Home in Osawatomie Monday at 10:30 a.m. for Mrs. Mae Elizabeth Todd, 69, who died October 24, 1975 at the North Kansas Vity Memorial Hospital.

The Rev. Clayton Pittman officated and Mrs. Ida Phares provided organ selections.  Serving as pallbearers were Otto Alexander, harry Alexander, Kenneth Alexander, Clyde Alexander, Larry Coker and Walter Sullins. Burial was in the Osawatomie Cemetery.

Born in Osawatomie on October 23, 1906, she was the daughter of Albert and Laurella Walthall.  She attended schools in Osawatomie and was a graduate with the cladd of 1925. Mrs. Todd was employed as a clerk at Coker's Fair Store for ten years. 

On January 7, 1951, she was married to Robert E. Todd at Osawatomie and they made their home there unil January 1, 1960 when they moved to Kansas City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Bert Walthall.

Immediate survivors include her husband of the home and her stepmother, Mrs. Anna Waldhall of Osawatomie.
