Glenn William Speck, son of Grace and Lloyd Speck was born October 28, 1904, in Bartlesville, OK, and departed this life at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kansas City, MO, on May 5, 1958 at the age of 53 years, 6 months and 7 days.

He was united in marriage to Alberta Quirin on April 12, 1930. He had been an employee of the Missouri Pacific railroad since 1925. Glenn was a member of the Methodist church; Masonic Lodge No 24; A.F.A.M. Abdullah Shrine, Kansas City, KS; Elks; and Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. He graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1924.

 He leaves his wife, Mrs. Alberta Speck; his mother Mrs. Grace Speck; two brothers, Thomas L., Sr. and Robert Speck, all of Osawatomie. Internment was in the Osawatomie Cemetery with Masonic services at the graveside. I.H. McMahon sang “The Lord’s Prayer” accompanied by Mrs. Nell Dollar.

 Pallbearers were Francis Hill, Raymond Laird, George Zakoura, Delton Deel, Irvin Walter and Roy Carpenter.
