CLASS OF 1915 MARCH 20, 1895 - JULY 28, 1998 Marshall, Mo. - - -Services for Clara B. Shively, Marshall, Mo., were held Aug. 1 in Campbell-Lewis Chapel. Miss Shively died Tuesday, July 28, 1998 in The Living Center. She was 103. She was born March 20, 1895 on a farm near Rantoul, Kan., the daughter of Martin Anderson and Sarah Jane McLean Shively. She attended Osawatomie schools and was a 1915 graduate of Osawatomie High School. She had lived in Franklin and Miami counties in Kansas before moving to Marshall in 1938. Miss Shively was a former member of Green Valley Baptist Church and a member of the First Baptist Church, Marshall. She was a homemaker and a member of the Foster Grandparent Program. Among those who preceded her in death were two sisters, Cecile Anderson and Marie Barber, and a brother, Clarence Shively. There are no immediate survivors. The Rev. Wayne Doolin officiated. Burial was in Ridge Park Cemetery under the direction of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. A memorial has been established in her name to the First Baptist Church. |
