Graveside services for Winifred Sheats Ranney, Route 1, Osawatomie, were held in Osawatomie Cemetery Monday. The Rev. Alan McDaniels officiated.

Mrs. Ranney, 92, was found dead at her home Thursday, Jan. 21, 1988. Her death was from natural causes.

She was born Nov. 9, 1895, and had lived northeast of Beagle for many years. She graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1913.

Her husband, Karl O. Ranney, preceded her in death in 1947.

Mrs. Ranney graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1913.

She was cremated. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson and Son Funeral Home, Paola.
