Mrs. Clara M. Holloway, 81, died July 17, 1973 at Holiday Manor, Osawatomie.

She was a lifetime resident of Osawatomie born there November 3, 1891, to Charles W. and Sarah Davidson Teeter. She was a graduate of the Osawatomie High School, class of 1909. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and was active in the WMB class and in the ladies aid. Also she was a member of Chapter No. 26, O.E.S., and of the ladies auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.

Three brothers, L.E. (Gene), Charles and Gilbert Teeter, preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Charles B. Holloway, Atlanta, Ga., and Richard L. Holloway, San Jose, Costa Rica; one daughter, Mrs. Alleen E. Terril, Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, Lynn Teeter, Osawatomie, and Otis Teeter, Salt Lake City, Utah, and one sister, Mrs. Roberta Wright, Cheyenne, Wyo.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. July 19 at the Eddy Chapel in Osawatomie. The Rev. Clayton Pittman officiated. "No Night There" was played by Mrs. Hugh Phares, organist. Pallbearers were James Powell, Raymond Laird, Ralph Waggoner, George Austin, Chester Pennock and William Sullivan. Burial was in the Osawatomie cemetery.
