Funeral services for William Lewis Beebe, 86, Ottawa, were held Friday at the Damron-Towner Chapel in Ottawa with the Rev. Clyde Griesen officiating. Burial was in the Osawatomie Cemetery.

Mr. Beebe was injured fatally in a two-vehicle collision on K-68 east of Ottawa, Wednesday, May 22, 1974. He was a member of the Plum Creek Methodist Church and had lived all his life in Miami and Franklin Counties. He was born May 14, 1888 in Osawatomie and was married to Ada May Sutherland. She preceded him in death on August 8, 1960..

Mr. Beebe graduated from Osawatomie High School with the class of 1907.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Devin, Pomona, Mrs. Edith Mae Benedict, Raymore, Mo., and Mrs. Mable Louise, Stokes, Butler, Mo.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
